The program of compelling choreography, apropos for Women’s History Month, celebrates the creative and imaginative works of seasoned and vibrant women dance makers. Presented every March since 2004, the project was conceived and co-founded by Christine Colosimo, Fara Lindsay, Linda Mannheim, and Marie Alonzo Snyder. This dance project is a dance cooperative, consisting of women professional dancers ages 40 and up who want to celebrate the rich life experiences acquired so far, and who want to continue their commitment to their dancing.
The purpose of "I'll have what she's having...." Dance Project is to support, encourage, and empower the diversity of women dancers and choreographers within our New Jersey community, enabling them to continue their artistic growth beyond the recognized and accepted age associated with dancers. The Project is a great occasion for gathering and strengthening our community of local dance artists.
Participating artists include Lisa Botalico, Julie Caprio, Christine Colosimo (co-founder), Loretta Di Bianca Fois, Kathie Kececi, Kim Leary, Fara Lindsay (co-founder), Alison Maxwell, Lynn Needle, Claudine Ranieri, and Susan Tenney.
